Rating by category:
Run down, dated, loud on highway side, has an "industrial" ambiance around it.
the room was great
the bed was very hard and we therefore did not sleep well and was very tired and in pain
Everything was good...
The hot tub was out of order..apparently for quite sometime..we were not told about that..and were very disappointed...that was one of the perks we booked there for!!
I didn't use it but the gym facility looked nice Was nice to see a bar area in the hotel and it looked well kept and nice
Beds were very uncomfortable Room was really outdated and smelled bad Bathroom was outdated and water smelled
handy to main lobby, nice snacks and coffee provided during our conference
Updated and comfy
Nothing comes to mind
It was close to everything I needed. The room was perfect and I felt secure there.
I would have liked to have breakfast included in the price.
- Good location (5 min. walk to the mall; 2 min. walk to the bus terminal) - Very Clean
we were up stairs with no elevator service couldn't use a cart for the luggage, we are both seniors and my husband is not well. I actually thought he would pass out when we were leaving .He found a door to go outside because he needed fresh air. We heard noisy people on our same floor from midnight right through until 5 am the morning. We needed our sleep to drive to Niagara Falls for a Celebration of Life on the Sunday for my husbands brother. The trip was difficult enough on a sad day without also having to do it with very little sleep. Someone had also set the clock an hour ahead so of course we lost another hour of sleep because of that. When you book and read the information nothing informed us the room was in an area with no elevator service. This now is the second time this has happened to us.
We stayed in a newly renovated deluxe king room. Everything was extremely clean. The bathroom was ultra modern with brand new, high end everything. No carpeting on the floors made the room feel cleaner. The pool was fabulous although it could have been a lot warmer. Hot-tub was perfect. Overall, a very clean, recently renovated hotel with above average facilities. There was always someone walking around maintain something. Highly recommended!
The pool could have been a lot warmer. When we arrived I was told that I was booked for a king room. I showed my confirmation from Booked.net that I had actually booked a deluxe king room (big difference). They had one more deluxe room left so offered it to me as they should have anyway.
We were in the area to attend MOPARFEST in New Hamburg. The weekend was very hot and the pool was a welcome relief. The desk staff were very accommodating.
Great breakfast and great staff at the restaurant
The staff at the reception can be more sympathetic, and have sincere smiles.
Overall, I would definitely go back it was very good and the staff was awesome, so was Kitchener.
No breakfast package offered.
mold in bathroom , ceiling falling off, probably because fan doesnt work room wasnt dusted since last year when talked to staff they said well thats too bad asked for mananger told unavailable!!
The bar area was nice to unwind at the end of the day
1- I booked 2 rooms with king beds on line. When checking in, no rooms available, just doubles. Same price though, of course. 2- when you drive up to check in you see a new and beautiful hotel. After paying $260-+ I'm given room keys and and start out on a five minute walk to a section of hotel older than I am. Built in the 50s I'm sure. Am not impressed.
